"Build the most efficient intergalactic factory in space simulation strategy game Dyson Sphere Program! Harness the power of stars, collect resources, plan and design production lines and develop your interstellar factory from a small space workshop to a galaxy-wide industrial empire."
Overview[]
Dyson Sphere Program is a game developed by Youthcat Studios, a small, 5 developer team based in China. The game is what this wiki is based around. The game's main premise is to build factories with buildings that manufacture various components and materials. The player pilots a mecha known as Icarus which has a built-in replicator to produce basic items. All these facilities can then be used to craft more and more complex and interesting components.
This all leads to creating a hypothetical structure called a Dyson Sphere, to capture the radiant energy of system's star.
The primary source of research in this game come in the form of 5 different types of Matrixes, starting with the Electromagnetic Matrix, with a 6th matrix being unlocked at the end of the game, crafted with all 5 of the previous. Similar to Factorio, these matrices are crafted from various different components you unlock across the game, and are fairly complex to properly scale up.
Although in Early Access, DSP already has a massive amount of content already available to early backers, some even going as far to call the game "nearly complete".
